OBJECT AND PURPOSE
It aims, to contribute effectively to the technological progress in all its manifestations, covering the activities of cooperation in research, training of professionals and technical collaborations with public administrations, industry and small and medium-sized enterprise, all this from a platform linked to the University of Seville and particularly to its Polytechnic School.
PURPOSES OF THE FOUNDATION AND BASIC RULES FOR THE IDENTIFICATION OF BENEFICIARIES AND THE APPLICATION OF RESOURCES TO THE FULFILMENT OF THE FOUNDATIONAL PURPOSES
Art. 6.- Purposes of the Foundation and activities for their achievement.
Foundation general interest are those that tend to encourage, guide and develop the University-industry collaboration in the field of applied research with a view to promote high-tech applications, key to progress, development and the competitiveness of the Industrial Sector, as well as all those that contribute to a better training of the engineers and other graduates in various university branches.
Therefore, within the purposes and cited general activities, including way and without limitation, specific purposes of the Foundation shall be:
1. Promote and encourage the establishment of relations of cooperation with public or private entities or natural or legal persons for the development of applied research and technological development projects.
2. Coordinating and/or managing projects of applied research, technology development, transfer of technology, international cooperation for development and studies or trials of interest to public administrations, industry and small and medium-sized enterprise under conditions that may be established.

3. Actively participate in the publication and dissemination of results to promote technological progress and assist in better training of professionals and technicians in general and very especially the formed by the Polytechnic University of Seville, except where in view of the Board of Trustees, or agreement preset with the contractors, to grant confidentiality.
4. Promote and organize conferences and seminars on technology issues, as well as technical training and development of postgraduate, especially for the trained at the Polytechnic University of Seville.
5. Form and discern Awards rewarding work of applied research for the industry to grant scholarships to postgraduate students, mainly at the Polytechnic University Seville, formed to carry out studies and applied technical research.
The Board of Trustees will have complete freedom to determine the Foundation's activities, aimed at the achievement of those objectives that, in view of the latter and in the fulfilment of its purposes, are the appropriate or desirable in every moment.
4. Promote and organize conferences and seminars on technology issues, as well as technical training and development of postgraduate, especially for the trained at the Polytechnic University of Seville.
